Mobile Flutter Engineer (NYC, Hybrid)

We’re looking for a high-velocity Flutter Engineer to join our fast-growing NYC-based team and help shape the future of our consumer fintech product. As a core contributor, you’ll build beautiful, high-performance mobile experiences that are shipped to users weekly. This is a hybrid role requiring ~3 days/week in our NYC FiDi office.

Responsibilities

  • As a core contributor, you’ll build beautiful, high-performance mobile experiences that are shipped to users weekly
  • Design, build, and ship robust Flutter apps used by real customers
  • Architect scalable, reactive mobile systems with clean state management
  • Collaborate with design teams using Figma and modern component libraries
  • Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs and cloud-native backends
  • Drive rapid iteration through A/B testing, CI/CD pipelines, and analytics
  • Contribute from day one—production code expected within your first week

Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience building and shipping Flutter consumer apps
  • Deep understanding of Dart, Flutter internals, and reactive programming
  • Strong grasp of mobile app architecture, design systems, and API integration
  • Experience working in high-growth, early-stage startups (Series A–C)
  • Familiarity with AWS (EKS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway), Firebase, CI/CD
  • Bonus: exposure to fintech, trading, or brokerage systems
  • Bonus: experience with Next.js or React

  • A clear communicator of technical concepts and tradeoffs
  • A fast learner who thrives in product-first environments
  • Based in NYC and excited to collaborate in-office 3+ days/week
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude
