Senior Software Engineer(Flutter -Mobile Development)

Responsibilities

Join the Marketplace Core team to build and scale the Clients app and website
Work closely with cross-functional teams in Product, Design, and Data to deliver user-focused features for both customers and partners
Take ownership of major roadmap initiatives, ensure performance and reliability, and contribute to the maturity of the engineering team
Design and develop mobile-first features using Flutter for iOS and Android
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
Lead execution of major product roadmap milestones
Support business-critical issues as part of the on-call rotation
Work with Client’s tech stack: Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Postgres, MongoDB, ECS on AWS

5+ years of professional software engineering experience
2+ years of mobile development experience, including both iOS and Android
Expertise in Flutter or strong willingness to learn it
Experience at strong, consumer-facing technology companies operating at scale (examples: DoorDash, Lyft, Partiful, Uber, Airbnb, Instacart, etc.)
Promotion to Senior level in prior roles
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Experience building or contributing to marketplace or booking platforms
Experience implementing internationalization (i18n) and localization in mobile applications
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and containerization (ECS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Currently living in NYC or willing to relocate prior to start – role is not remote and requires 4 days/week in-office
No significant resume gaps (3+ months) or multiple short stints (<1 year)
