The engineering and product leadership team has extensive experience in building enterprise-grade applications and teams, successfully leading them from product formation to successful exits, including M&A and IPO. The platform enhances building safety by increasing B2B transparency, reducing waste, and eliminating errors in critical infrastructure. We are looking to hire a senior Flutter engineer to work in person near Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

Build, test, and deploy high-quality Flutter applications for production environments
Collaborate closely with design, product, and DevOps teams to implement innovative features
Write detailed technical documentation for code reviews, refactoring, and onboarding
Ensure performance, reliability, and responsiveness across platforms

Skills

2-3 years of professional mobile software development experience, focusing on Flutter
5-8 years of overall professional software development experience
Demonstrated success in building and shipping production-grade Flutter applications
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Gitlab
Proficient with Git and managing collaborative workflows
Strong written communication skills for detailed technical documentation
Ability to write clean, scalable, and efficient code
Experience with performance optimization using monitoring tools like New Relic and Grafana

Qualifications

Must be located near Chicago, IL, or willing to relocate (relocation bonuses available)
