Flutter Mobile Application Developer

We’re looking for a Flutter Developer to build and optimize cross-platform mobile apps in Dart—integrating APIs, collaborating with design and product teams, and ensuring peak performance on iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

Design & implement new app modules based on the product requirements using Flutter framework
Maintain existing codebases
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Integrate user-interfaces elements developed by other developers
Build user interfaces designed by UI/UX designers
Integration of data storage solutions
Integrate various APIs from third parties
Debug existing apps components, fix issues and avoid regressions
Collaborate closely with the teams of UI/UX designers, PMs, QAs, and other developers
Participate in software architecture, design discussions and code reviews
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Skills

Proficient understanding of Flutter framework, Dart programming, and experience with Flutter state management solutions with 1+ years of hands-on experience in cross platform app development
Proficiency with RESTful APIs, third-party services, and handling asynchronous data
Good understanding on how to implement security flags into mobile apps & Proficient understanding of the most popular SDKs used within mobile apps
Experience on image optimization, proper session management, CDN usage, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Understanding Apple’s and Android’s design principles and interface guidelines and knowledge of latest design patterns like MVVM/MVP

Benefits

💰 Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $55K – $114K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
