Talent Management and Performance Director

Responsibilities

  • This role is responsible for building and driving talent mapping, internal mobility, career development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives, underpinned by scalable systems and frameworks
  • Design and implement an enterprise-wide talent management framework that aligns with business strategy and culture ensuring global consistency and team/local adaptability as needed
  • Ensure Talent mapping is a continuous process throughout the year where new opportunities for internal mobility, cross-functional work, or leadership development are identified as needs arise, keeping talent engaged and aligned with business goals
  • Design and implement strategies to improve the identification and development of key talent populations critical to business success
  • Drive understanding and adoption of individualized development plans for managers and leaders alike
  • Incorporate industry best practices around performance and talent management practices and regularly seek feedback to ensure continuous improvement to our practices
  • Develop and manage an annual performance and talent management calendar to ensure timely execution of key activities such as goal setting, check-ins, performance reviews, talent assessments, and succession planning, providing clear milestones for employees and leaders
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including HRIS experts, designers, vendors, and facilitators, to ensure seamless execution of talent and performance programs
  • Partner with our data teams to design and implement reporting systems to provide relevant data, analytics, and insights for informed decision-making on talent and performance
  • Develop and execute a communication plan for regular updates on talent and performance initiatives clear articulating the why and the what
  • Anticipate and address potential challenges, manage competing priorities effectively, and ensure alignment with FanDuel's strategic goals

Skills

  • 10+ years of progressive experience designing and implementing performance and talent management initiatives
  • Experience designing, implementing, and enhancing best in class continuous talent management strategy in a scaled global organization
  • Experience partnering and consulting with internal stakeholders including HRBPs, Executives, Total Rewards, and L&D on performance, talent, and development initiatives
  • Well versed in leading change management activities as part of implementation of new talent processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends in data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including facilitation
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with experience creating impactful presentations and data analyses
