Flutter Technical Lead

Location: Los Altos, CA - remote

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Flutter developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Architect and design scalable and maintainable Flutter applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Take ownership of the technical aspects of mobile application development projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the mobile development landscape, recommending and implementing best practices to enhance the development process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with the development team to address challenges and ensure project success.
  • Participate in the hiring process by interviewing and evaluating potential Flutter developers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Flutter developer with a strong portfolio of mobile applications.
  • Prior experience in a technical leadership role, leading a team of mobile developers.
  • Expertise in Dart programming language and Flutter framework.
  • Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in the mobile development space.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) in addition to Flutter.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in the mobile development context.
