iOS Build Environment Setup for Flutter App Using Codemagic

Responsibilities

  • Other common Swift/Xcode plugin linkage issues
  • Audit and fix my current Flutter project’s iOS setup
  • Correctly configure the ios/Podfile for Firebase and other plugins
  • Set up codemagic.yaml to:
    • Run flutter pub get and pod install
    • Build from .xcworkspace, not .xcodeproj
    • Archive for App Store / TestFlight
    • Ensure GetX and all Dart plugins work correctly with iOS
    • Help clean up unnecessary errors or misconfigurations in the build process
    • Confirm working iOS archive build and optionally help generate an .ipa
    • Working Codemagic build for iOS (builds and archives successfully)
    • Documentation of what was fixed (brief and simple is fine)
