Talent and Leadership Lead

Responsibilities:

  • Use data and diagnostics to identify current and future needs and to determine how to most effectively increase leadership capability.
  • Scope, manage, develop and execute the design and delivery of varied leadership development programmes and initiatives that build leadership capability across the group.
  • Create excitement for new approaches to leadership and talent development that drive the retention and engagement of leadership talent.
  • Agree a communication plan for regularly reporting on the status of leadership and talent development initiatives.
  • Participate in a community of practice with hub leads to ensure a consistent and joined up Talent agenda across Group Functions
  • Partner with the Group Functions learning and people partnering teams to ensure talent management and development approaches for senior levels compliments local talent, performance and development across Group Functions.
  • Collaborate with Flutter colleagues across different divisions and group to ensure a joined-up approach to talent development that supports group mobility and talent sharing while at the same time meeting the needs of Group Functions.
  • Vendor selection and management across all accountable areas.
  • Lead talent initiatives: Divisional Talent Reviews, Game, High Potential Assessment etc.

Experience:

  • A capable thought leader in leadership and talent development with a strong external network.
  • Proven track record of effectively operating in a leadership and talent development role with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout a global organisation at all levels
  • Experience of supporting the design and execution of a leadership and talent development strategy that accelerates business strategy execution.
  • Relevant experience in project management and budgeting.
  • Strong working knowledge of leadership and talent development best practice and innovations.
  • Structured thinking and a clear ability to effectively shape stakeholder decision making
  • Strong communication, contracting and negotiation skills and a good ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with business-oriented and results focused thinking.
  • Track record of contributing to successful teams and of building teams capable of sustaining high performance over time.
